Faith leaders gathered together in Rio de Janeiro to celebrate the 70th anniversary
of the Christ Statue at Corcovado mountain, and to express condolences for the
Sept. 11, 2001 tragedy in the USA.

That they might set their hope in GOD,
and not forget the Works of GOD, but keep His Commandments:...

Our Heavenly FATHER,
Oftentimes, we see so much terrible suffering of the innocent,
so unfair in the gruesome hardships of this world, miserably suffering as do the evil.
,
It projects a kind of hopeless unjustness, a damned if you do and damned if you don't, so,
"What's the point in caring?" mentality, that unfortunately, many succumb to;
often with apathy, clinical depression, self-destructive behavior and suicidal tendencies;
often with little help in a band aid approach to healing, common in the field of medicine:
therein is our darkness.

For these ailments can be deeper symptoms of varied degrees or extreme discontent with the status quo:
desperately needing to find light: to find The LORD.

John 8:12
Then Spoke Jesus again to them, Saying,
"I AM the Light of the world:
he that follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the Light of Life."

FATHER,
Before terrorism manifested itself plainly in our generation,
in reflecting about our common situation as human beings here on Earth,
recorded history denotes much unspeakable suffering, en masse;
so we reluclantly accept it as an inevitable part of life, initiated through crime, intolerance, wars, illnesses and other disasters;
but it should be intrinsically understood for what it is: a stronghold of unspeakable evil that has engulfed life on Earth.

Isaiah 46:12
"Listen to Me, you stouthearted, that are far from righteousness:..."
,
The same kind of evil that knows no boundaries in its taking of innocent life;
and that has made itself plainly visible, in the merciless,
murderous, unreasoning, non-negotiable purveyors of terror,
fallen and condemned to the trappings of darkness.
,
But why should it be this way? How did it so get this way?
Should we believe that humans originate from base, raw animal intelligence
and need to mentally and emotionally evolve our way out of it?
,
Isaiah 46:13
"I bring near My Righteousness; it shall not be far off,
and My Salvation shall not tarry: and I will Place Salvation in Zion for Israel My Glory."

Or that we were Created wonderfully and that we have fallen to our dilemma?
,
For what can we see in any newborn child, that comes into this world?
We see pure innocence,
we see a wonderful Creation.

Isaiah 46:9, 10

I AM GOD, and there is none like Me,...".

Created wonderfully suggests purity, responsibility, judgment, justice, future, peaceful life and hope;..

And ( Jesus) Said,
"Verily I Say to you, Except you be converted, and become as little children,
you shall not enter into the Kingdom of Heaven."

...while random evolvement holds no substantive accountability; no real meaning and no hope,
as in the too common sentiment: "Life's a drag and then you die, period."

"To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light,
and from the power of Satan to GOD, that they may receive Forgiveness of sins,
and Inheritance among them which are Sanctified by faith that Is In Me."

and few there be that find it."

We each must ask of our beliefs, which, should we, do we, really and courageously want to choose and support?
Life on Earth as we know it including all its gross, unending hardships,

or life that begins on Earth to Life Everlasting,

unspeakably joyful, in peace, with You, our Wonderful FATHER?
