I

Give me the Good Gift of Patience

to bring comfort to those trying days.

Give me the Great Gift of Kindness,

to  prevail in my heart always.

I joy in the Gift of Benevolence

wherein I can help a Good Cause

as I pleasure in others who benefit,

praying for all in need without pause.

I treasure the Gift of Repentance

 that gives opportunity

for Redemption, GOD's Grace and Forgiveness,

that our LORD Gave to you and to me.

I pray for the Grand Gift of Hopefulness

to be my permanent creed.

For hope is the way to redeem the day

and conquer despair where there's  need.

Give me the Blessings of Truthfulness,

for Truth is the doorway to freedom,

where we can abide with The LORD at our side

In GOD's Grace in the Kingdom of Heaven.

And I cherish the Good Gift of Charity.

It's greater to give than receive, 

for that which we give

helps our spirits to live

In GOD's Light and His Love in true Parity.

All these things will bring my true happiness.

For I know these Good Gifts supersede

all the lofty excesses of worldliness

that lead to corruption and greed,

abandoning true self worth and worthiness,

 the free spirit no longer can lead

to the Glorious Gift of Salvation,

the 'Best of the Best' Gifts, we need.

For these Gifts from our GOD

 Come through Faith In His Word,

 The "Greatest of all Gifts," indeed. -
