Our FATHER In Heaven,
FATHER of all peoples,
Creator of all, Almighty, and Merciful,
we gather here because we love You.
.
We are inspired and eager to serve in prayer,
because we love Your Saving Counsel;
and our fellow man; and the idea of a continually
free, peaceful, prosperous, and united nation;
.
aside from the politics of vain and mean,
partisan passions that destructively
thrive through fanatical, polarizing competitiveness.
..
Differences of opinion will always be a factor,
but certainly, debate yet unified in decency
and service, and for the genuinely common
good of all.
..
Let them not continually mar the "landscape
of peace" with our very politics that should serve to progress us.

FATHER,
.
Help us all to remember Your High Moral Truths
as that which should continually
lift up the standard and unite us in this
great nation, formed by the framers with that specifically in mind;
with so much careful consideration and respect
for the basic elements of a privileged, free
and orderly society, that all its citizens
should be proud, comfortable and happy to be a part of.
.
Let us continue to be benevolent, generous
helpers to other nations, but let them in turn, with gratitude and respect,
work peaceably with us and with all
others, so that our world, united, can find its greatly needed progress
for the sake of the great many who are so
needy, and for the sake of all.
.
With thankfulness and reverence, we pray these
things, Sovereign GOD,
